Ingredients

Method

  1. Heat the hotplate on medium for 5 minutes and wipe it with a little oil on paper towel.
  2. Put the onions on one side with a splash of oil and keep them moving.
  3. Cook the sausages on the other side, turning every couple of minutes, for 12–15 minutes.
  4. Serve in bread with onions on top and sauce on the onions, so it doesn't slide off.

🧊 Food safety

Sausages must be cooked right through to 75°C in the middle, with no pink. Keep raw meat in an esky at 5°C or colder until it goes on the plate. Use separate tongs and plates for raw and cooked meat.
